IntérieursBruxelles: Archives d'Architecture Moderne (1981). First Edition. Oblong quarto. The first book by photographer Sophie Ristelhueber, a collaboration with future husband François Hers, for which she was supposed to write only text, but unable to find words she picked up a camera instead. The first section, photographed by Hers, consists of color images of the interiors of homes with no people; the second section, Ristelhueber's, is comprised of black and white images of the inhabitants of these interiors. Preface by Jean-François Chevrier. Text by René Schoonbrodt. Near fine in photo-illustrated wrappers with integral French flaps.
